THE FORS RECOGNITION TREE

HISTORY

In 1999 the Friends of Rainbow Springs State Park undertook a long-term project to renovate the existing historic garden areas of Rainbow Springs State Park. The FORS Recognition Tree, located in the park Gift Shop area, became a part of the fundraising for this project. Today the garden renovation is complete, but the upkeep of the restored gardens continues. Fundraising for this upkeep, new plant identification markers and a garden information booklet is ongoing.
