History of Rainbow Springs Book Now Available in our Gift Shop
Explore the rich history of Rainbow Springs through this wonderful book now available in the
Rainbow Springs State Park gift shop for $18.95.
We hope you find a meaningful connection to Rainbow Springs through this book. It includes
correspondence and pictures from neighbors who visited the old park as children, plant/animal
specialist, volunteer, staff and various other help from inside and outside the park. We are thankful
for all who helped put this book of our beautiful park together.
Thank you to The Dunnellon Community Thrift Shop The Friends of Rainbow Springs State Park recently received a $7,000 charitable donation from the Dunnellon Community Thrift Shop for purchasing 2 drinking water stations. They include a water bottle filling station, two bi-level drinking fountains and a pet watering station. This generous donation will pay for the drinking fountains, shipping costs and materials needed to install them. Stay tuned to their actual installation in the next month. One fountain will be placed in the historic Zoo area near the back country trail head. The other will be located near the swim area and picnic area. |
