Effective Sept. 9, 2026: The parking lot at Rainbow Springs State Park will undergo renovations from Sept. 9 to

Oct. 31. Limited parking will be available. We advise visitors to plan arrivals accordingly.

EVENING CONCERT SERIES

Join us on the second Thursday of the month, starting in November for a live concert. There will be

a new band each week. 


Concessions and Gift Shop will be Open, tables and chairs available, but you can bring your own.

No outside food or beverages.


There's a $10 suggested donation. 


No Reservations needed after the Park reopens at 6:30pm. Dogs allowed on a leash.

RAINBOW SPRINGS STATE PARK

Thank you to The Dunnellon Community Thrift Shop

The Friends of Rainbow Springs State Park recently received a $7,000 charitable donation from the Dunnellon Community Thrift Shop for purchasing 2 drinking water stations. They include a water bottle filling station, two bi-level drinking fountains and a pet watering station. 

This generous donation will pay for the drinking fountains, shipping costs and materials needed to install them. 

Stay tuned to their actual installation in the next month. One fountain will be placed in the historic Zoo area near the back country trail head. The other will be located near the swim area and picnic area.

    Join us for a night of live music with the Bluegrass sounds of Brinkman, Johnson & Taylor. Concessions and gift shop will be open, tables and chairs will be available, but you can bring your own chairs. No outside food or beverages. No Reservations are needed after the Park reopens at 6:30pm. Dogs allowed on leash. There's a $10 suggested donation.

    Mark "Brink" Brinkman is an award-winning songwriter, performer and multi-instrumentalist in Bluegrass, Americana, Gospel and Country. Brink has conducted workshops for many songwriting associations over the years, sharing his knowledge and experience. Many notable artists have recorded his songs, including several that have charted "Top 10" in the Bluegrass and Gospel Charts, including 37 Number 1 songs. He is joined by a couple other talented and experienced musicians, Ken Taylor on bass, and Mark Johnson on Banjo.

    Keith Caton is celebrated for his hard‑hitting, modern‑edge blues that blends classic traditions with electrifying originals. His guitar work is described as gritty, smoky, and full of power, drawing from influences like Muddy Waters, Bo Diddley, and B.B. King. He has been the driving force behind Florida’s renowned Bluzbusters for over a decade, later founding the Accelerators in the late 1990s to explore his own vision of hard‑driving electric blues. Today, he leads the Keith Caton Blues Band, which delivers tight musicianship and a repertoire spanning blues classics and original compositions.
