Below is the ballot for the Friends of Rainbow Springs State Park (FORS) Board of Directors.  You will note that there are 8 candidates for which you are asked to vote.  Space also is provided for write-in candidates.  Please return your ballot to the address shown not later than December 1, 2022.   We continue to need candidates for future Board positions, for Board Committees, for our Gift Shop, and for other volunteer positions.  If you are interested or would like more information about serving in a position with the Friends of Rainbow Springs, you can contact any of the Board members.  For information about volunteering either in the Gift Shop or in other areas at the park, please contact Thea Knott, Park Services Specialist at

We continue to work on implementing the features of our Wild Apricot website –  Since we cannot yet provide online voting, we ask that you print the ballot and return it by mail this year.  If we do not have your email and you wish to handle your membership and receive information through the website, please include your email on your ballot.

FORS is working on a fundraising campaign to restore and preserve the waterfalls at Rainbow Springs State Park – an important historical and cultural resource at Rainbow Springs.  Watch the website for more information in the coming weeks on how to donate either online or by check.  The projects and programs of the Friends of Rainbow Springs State Park (FORS) are supported directly by our generous donors – through their membership and their donations.  Each dollar you give for the waterfalls project will help the Rainbow Springs Waterfalls flow again.

This year our Annual Meeting will be held on Monday, December 12, 2022 at 1 p.m. at Rainbow Springs State Park.  The meeting is open to all FORS members and to the public.  We hope to see you there.
